I've been hoping to find information related to my cars in the Lost and Found section. Could we require the VIN# be listed in the subject line so it is easier to do a search? Also, I've noticed some just have a photo of the VIN# on a block which won't show up in a search.

What I found out this weekend: The 215 fan is for a 22" radiator, 18" diameter blade. The 216 fan is for a 26" radiator, 18 1/2" blade. So for most people this would be the bigger question than which cools better.

Can you post the VIN# and casting date of the block please?

Definitely seems to be a cruise lean condition. Needs a bit more fuel while driving down the road. Either jetting or possibly dirty passages in the carburetor.

I don't believe there was an idle solenoid unless the car has Air Conditioning. The solenoid is separate from the bracket.

Thank you 340Wedge, that's what I needed. My interior code is L1XX which is the Black Vinyl/Plaid Cloth bench. That shows me the correct head rests. The steering wheel in the car must have been original but it looked like a '72. Thanks.

Looks like there were 2 different plain plastic steering wheels used in 1971. The first is a leftover from '70 that has the flat horn button with the large diameter satin aluminum ring on the face, the other is the common one you'll see in '72 and up A-bodies with the tall padded horn button...

Is the "X" bracing behind the back seat? Are the 2 upper clips and 2 lower clips that retain the back seat still there? Could they be cut out and shipped to 46031?
