Yes. The 360 is externally balanced. LOL, the builder I use didn't know that and he hacked up a ATI 360 balancer to make it work. SB chebby guy but local so I use him.

The last set of Diamond custom pistons I got, with TS rings and tool steel pins was a lot higher than your estimate also.

They spin them things to da moon though and that means a lot of broken parts / maintenance. My 500 has a 3.85 crank and would rev to 9300+ in a heartbeat if you let it.
