manual to auto swap what will work?

It won't be a direct swap, as the size of the hole in the torque converter changed sizes in the late sixties. (don't remember if it went bigger or smaller) You can use a bushing to take up the slack assuming it went bigger. Someone can give you the exact details, but this is just letting you...

    70 K member in a 66 Dart

In regards to brakes and such, yes everything will swap over. If there is a swaybar, then it would be to wide for a straight swap. I think I read somewhere of someone making one fit on an early a body

    Anyone have a red interior?

Anyone have a car, with a red interior? Pics? also what is the exterior color. I'm just trying to make a plan for my car (64 Dart) and I think I want a black car with a red interior. But I got to thinking, if I ever wanted to change the color of the car, my only other option would be White or...

    340 in 66 cuda?

Oh yeah, and like Xanth said, unless you have an 8.75, you will need a rear end swap, because the 7.25 won't last long.

    340 in 66 cuda?

the 64-66 a-bodies wont need a k-member swap. just the proper mounts. You can either use the factory V8 mounts and use a spacer on the drivers side, or get some shumacher mounts and just bolt it in. The K member was the same for /6's and V8's for these years.

    4 Speed O/D???????

Quite a few people use them. I am planning on using one in my 64 valiant. The later ones have a aluminum case, so one thing to think of is if you are planning on using it behind a high HP engine, there is a chance that one of the 'holes' will become oblong. (someone else can give the proper...

    a230

It was never behind a challenger or cuda if that's what you were referring to with the T/A comment. It came behind slants, and 318's, possibly others, but I have never heard of it used with anything else. They will definately take the abuse of a small block, as I currently have one that was...

    64-66 manifold questions

there was only one casting number for these manifolds, which were: 1739599 (right) 2465857 (left) correct? secondly, do these manifolds fit all small blocks, or just the 273? I have only ever worked on a 318, so I know nothing about the other small blocks. thanks

    64 valiant & 74 Duster questions

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a 64 valiant (Canadian built, which means it's a Dart with a valiant front clip) I also have a 74 Duster parts car, that will be donating its disk brakes, 8.25 rearend, 318 and 3speed. Now, my question is, will the torsion bars on the duster fit the...

    Questions on Intake and holley

    Questions on Intake and holley

I recieved a 4 BBL intake recently that I am trying to ID. The casting number is 2531 15-2 and the other is 03259. Also with the intake, is a Holley with: List 4366 stamped on it. From what I have found so far, this carb may have come on Imperials with a 440. I can't find what the CFM is...
