    Right carb for a souped-up 360?

Thanks for all the useful information! I have recently bought a used , restored Holley 650 DP, just for trying. A Holley 750 vac. sec. is also in the drawer, to be tried on afterwards. It's all about the experiments (as long as i have the time, i'd surely like to drive it sometimes also).

Holley 650 DP on 360 - secondaries issue

Hi there. I have just installed a Holley 650 DP on a 360 mopar with an Eddy RPM intake. 727, 8 3/4. Before that, i was running an Eddy 600 vac.sec. (which is now sold) When i put the pedal to the floor, the carb's primaries are open, but the secondaries are just about to. When pulling the...

    Right carb for a souped-up 360?

I sorta had the same idea - the 750 flows more air, and very easy to change its jets. What's that about Barry Grant is out of business? We don't hear so much about it here in little Dannevang. :rr:

    Right carb for a souped-up 360?

Hi Moper. 727, origin unknown, maybe from a van since it has a hole on the top of the bellhousing. 2500 stall converter from hughes (although it stalls at about 2000 rpm! maybe wrong number?) 2.76:1 w/ cone sure grip.

    Right carb for a souped-up 360?

Hi guys, I want to replace my edelbrock 600 vac. secondary with something more suitable for my engine. The 600 was never intended to stay on my 360, but it was what i had on the shelf. 2 carbs are on my "candidate list", the 750 Holley and the 650 Speed demon, both mech.secondary. The engine...

    Opinions on a 8.75" / 2.76 sure grip?

Thanks for the replies. I think my li'l Dart has enough rubber-burning, Mustang-punishing potential even with a 2.76 - it runs a lot of highway miles. The little MPG gain with the 2.76 is just a benefit - here in denmark, the gasoline price is about 2,50 $....per liter!

    Opinions on a 8.75" / 2.76 sure grip?

Hello, I was wondering about putting together some shelf-parts; a 2.76 ratio in a 8.75" .489 rear end with a sure-grip cone diff. The car is used for cruising and some tire-shredding fun, and runs a souped-up 360 with a 727, 2400 Hughes stall converter. Rear end is 3.23 and peg-leg diff. Think...

    Which Hood Scoop???

I'd say, run a satin black hood with a sixpack scoop on your '74. Here's a pic of my '70 with that combo.

proper placement for 72 Dart emblems???

Nice, i was just about to make a thread about just the same topic. My ´70 Swinger didn't have any emblems at all, so i will go on a "treasure hunt" to find the holes in the quarter panel. I was lucky to get my hands on a set of NOS emblems. :)

    Hi fellow A-body drivers.

Thanks! They look awesome, but made the car handle like a jellyfish. So, they're replaced with some radials instead...

    Hi fellow A-body drivers.

The Firestone bias-ply tires looks way better than they handle. ;)

    Hi fellow A-body drivers.

Hello again, and thank you all for the nice welcome. I'm sure i will have some good times here reading and participating in the forums. I've already read some threads, and got me some good advice about adjusting my side windows since i've just renewed the weatherstripping on the Dart. :)...

    Hi fellow A-body drivers.

Just a few words to say hello. I'm a truly Mopar-addicted guy who owns a '70 Dart Swinger. I was lucky to get my hands on this little powerhouse about three years ago, it took some time to get it running well and looking good, but now it is.:headbang: Looking forward to the summertime with lots...
