[FOR SALE] S E TEXAS set f TorqThrust Twp wheels

If the asking price is for all four wheels and they're not corroded, bent, or have destroyed clearcoat, I believe it's fair, but your local market may vary It is possible they're offshore knockoffs, but if they've been installed for 20 years, they're probably the genuine article

    '65 A-body 8 3/4" Sure-Grip 4.10 in a '67 Barracuda?

Depending on the cost, I'd get it just to have it... That said, unpopular opinion time: ...I'm not a terribly big fan of changing things purely for the sake of changing them-the change needs to have a functional or at the very least cosmetic benefit, to me. The GM 8.2 10 bolt is actually a...

You ever see a 71-76 2 door valiant that wasn't a Scamp or Duster? I haven't...I'll happily stand corrected though. OP: "Do I have a Valiant or scamp" Yes...a Scamp IS a Valiant...like a Swinger is a Dart From Wiki: "in 1970...The two-door sedan was dropped, replaced by the new Duster coupe...

    5.2 Magnum Piston Question

They look like 285AP or possibly silvolite 1266 pistons...if they are, they're a low compression piston with either a 1.72 or 1.74 CH respectively. Assuming all other measurements are indexed and nominal, those pistons would be 0.102" in the hole at TDC. Even with magnum heads, that puts your...

    5.2 Magnum Piston Question

Factory slugs for the 5.2 were indeed flat top with no valve reliefs. I have a 98 Dakota 5.2 in my 72 Scamp. The LA 318 in my Dad's 85 Ramchager also has flat tops too, but if I were to guess, they'd be a little lower in the hole than the magnum.

Seeking wisdom from those who have installed a lift

Seeking wisdom from those who have installed a lift

It's not only the thickness, but the composition and where the rebar or reinforcement is. Seek out the requirements as set forth in your lift. Most of the ones I've seen require minimum 4" 3K psi concrete...that's what mine is, and I've had no issues. Overtorquing the anchors, poor...

Good to know...I have a 360 roller cam sitting in the box I want to have reground by Oregon (if they still do that) and slide it into a roller 318 block for my wife's '65 Dart. I know it will require some longer pushrods due to the reduced base circle, but that's easy enough...
