Viper wheels on my '69 Dart

Front suspension is stock. Rear suspension, I moved the leaf springs inwards and shaved the fender well lips as well as installed airshocks with an onboard compressor whenever I carry extra load. Wheels are designed for newer Chargers/challengers so they will fit our cars just fine when you got...

Thank you! Only mods needed are offsetting leaf springs inboard about an inch, grind the fender lips flush to the wheel wells, and appropriate rear wheel spacers.

Viper wheels on my '69 Dart

Honestly, they didn't seem much heavier than the 15" steel wheels and tires and there isn't much noticeable difference in driving behavior due to weight

Viper wheels on my '69 Dart

Not sure if there are various ways to relocate springs but my spring hangers have been moved in adjacent to the frame rails which is probably about an inch or so. I don't see how 295s would fit as I slightly rub with weight in the back. Is that the way you moved in your springs?

Viper wheels on my '69 Dart

I understand the look would be polarizing to many. One of the biggest factors in my decision in getting the wheels is matching up the overall dimensions of my current set, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I still have my primary set of wheels--15" steelies and dogdish caps which I could never...

Thanks everyone. The suspension is stock upfront. The rear leaf springs have been moved in an inch and the fender lips ground down and smoothed. The wheel wells are stock! I also have air shocks to help with the leveling when carrying loads.

1969 Dart from San Francisco -New here

Been lurking around for the past few years. Actually, I must thank you all for the massive amount of info available on this great site. I wouldn't have been able to build my '69 Dart without it, honestly. I bought it in spring of 2012, completely tore her down and rebuilt her all by myself. The...
