im looking to run a fan shroud on my 1965 plymouth valiant with a 273. I am currently running a champion 2 row aluminum radiator with a stock 6 blade fan. Does anyone make a aftermarket fan shroud that will fit this radiator or a universal one that can be made to work?

so i bought a used holley 2280 for my 65 273, i rebuilt it and there is some parts missing on the bowl vent, its missing the bowl vent lever, bowl vent spring, and the little pin. i cant find any parts for it either. Anything i can do to the bowl vent? Can i leave it open or can i close it?

alright so i took down the gas tank and it hand no sock, the gas tank was clean, put it back up same thing kept turning off, then i took the electric pump and diconnected it and i used a mechanical one and still same problem, you guys think it can be the carb?

so i want to get some wider wheels in the back and i was thinking of getting some steel wheels in 15x7 with 4in back spacing, and running a 255/60/15 tire, i have a stock 64 dart, you guys think it will work with out a problem? will 15x8 with 4.5 back spacing and same tire size work too?

yeah right when i barely open the throttle it shoots the gas, im gonna order some 68 main jets and see what happens

alright so i opened up the carb today and cleaned it out again and rebuilt the carb and on the main jets it said 641, also im still experiencing the same problem, i will order bigger jets this week and hopefully that will make it better

there isnt any play on that, and i also bumped the timing to 20btdc and same bog and then back to 10btdc and same thing, so i just left it at 15btdc, im gonna get a different power valve and bigger main jets and hopefully it makes it run a bit better.

to my ear it doesnt sound cam, but i also dont know what is the engines history, and i dont know whats done to it internally. but ill check the vacuum advance

alright so you guys think the 35 nozzle is to big? and i did advance my timing and it still did it, so i doubt its the timing. i will change my main jets and hopefully thats the problem, and my accelerator pump is adjusted right on so when i barely move the throttle by hand it squirts
