I have never cc'd the heads I have I was in the same spot as you and I got the cc info off of here and moparts. IIRC they only have like a 100 cfm intake. Turned out my block was junk for that 318 build so when I got another it came with 302 heads.

I have those exact same castings from a previous 318 they are nothing special and not worth the money to put in them.. I would def look at those 302's. I'd either sell those or use them to learn how to port and polish. Also they should have been 58cc not 68cc..

I have the american racing outlaw 2's on my jeep and they kinda look alike but not by much..

They came on my father in laws jeep when he bought it and I traded him some jeep wagon wheels for these before i knew how much of a pain they were.. The whole reason for the search was to see how much they were worth so I can get rid of them.

So o was finishing tearing down the motor and I was taking out the crank bolt so I can pull the harmonic balancer. And this is what the bolt look liked.. it took an impact to get it out.. the crank threads didn't look to messed up hopefully they can get fixed. After that I pulled the cam...

Top piston is stock out of a 89 block 318 bottom is what I pulled out of the magnum today. The numbers inside are 8290 or B290. I can't find anything for either. Either way I'm getting the 107's to get my cr up. I'll deglaze the bores and have my new pistons balanced to my crank.. Anyone...

Yeah its a magnum. It has a balanced flex plate with tone ring. Everything on it is magnum except for the pistons apparently. Kb107 with the heads list above should net the ration I want right? I'm going to go ahead and pull a piston to make sure everything else is okay I.e rods, bearings...

See that's what I'm thinking too.. every piston I looked up for the magnum had valve releifs in them and these do not. That is number 3 piston.

Say I wanted to replace my pistons with some kieth blacks. What p/n should I get? Also would I be able to just hone the cylinders out a little to get rid of the glaze?

Ok so I checked to see how far down the pistons were in the hole and I came up with .085 that seems way low. I was using feeler gauges and a 6" straight edge. Is there a better way to check this?

No I haven't ordered anything yet. I'm just getting the list of stuff I want to put in the motor. So I have a goal and a budget. Reading the thread makes me want to go check to see how far down in the hole my pistons are. Hopefully they are not to far down in there. I don't know what rebuild...

when i had the 318 in the duster i ran cherry bomb turbo's.. i thought they sounded pretty thoaty..until they put new speed bumps in at the high school and ripped one open.
