The glove box cover mounts to the face of the existing glove box, and the turning knob bezel is sunk in like the original. I provide screws and the mounting holes are pre-drilled.

In all the dashes sold, we've not had a report of any depth issues, all standard Autometer gauges including their 5" combination gauges.
