Do you have 12v to coil ? Or resistor ?

I May have missed it in previous posts but did you lock up the mechanical advance in the dizzy as the ecu controls the spark except vacuum advance ?

From my research they both flow similar to each other std, the closed chamber head should be between 57 to 63cc the open chamber head is 64cc shaved already.

To isolate which lifter is noisy simply run the engine with valve covers off and use a hose as a stethoscope over all the rockers individually you will soon hear the noisy lifter.

Hi i did check enfloat on assembly and it was in specs. i do believe the cap is sitting correctly and as per other posts and bearing clearence etc. i have to try with another seal and go from there

I checked the clearance with plastigauge today & it is .015 to .020 clearance so the cap is clearly sitting correctly. I spoke to my machinist who tells me that indeed the do not sit flush or bottom on the block I too did the paper trick like Bobzilla shows . I think I will just replace the...

ok when the cap is tightened down do you have a gap between the cap and block beside the seal looking from the rear, seal or no seal fitted?
