If it was neutral safety switch it should still start in neutral right?

I am having starter issues with my 1972 scamp it will not fire with key... I jump the starter it will run... I changed my starter thinking solenoid issue but still have same problem, I have checked wiring it seems fine. Any ideas?

I think hes setting at 5 degrees initial timing. It's at 10 degree now runs good it seems I'm new to timing was not my generation lol

im attempting to install my doug headers d453 on my 1972 scamp as we speak now. i have lifted the motor moved the steering arms i cannot seem to get it to where it needs to sit on the head im going crazy here. do i need to remove torsion bars tranny cooling lines? im doing driver side first like...

I called them they never took anything off the intake side. So they are unsure

Its so close.. iv read people taking a little bit out of the bold holes to make it work...but that will resitrict my exhaust flow... prob not enough to notice what you think of that?

Well yes thats what im assuming... i just did a fresh build but the machine shop never milled the heqds on that side so im unsure on how much it was milled

It will line up with no gaskets but with gaskets its out ugh..

So i went to install my intake rpm air gap. Can get one side lined up but other side is out maybe 1/4 inch. Has anyone ran into this problem I'm guessing mt heads were machined on the intake side once before.. any ideas?
