Has anyone run a 440 with a Mancini cross ram intake. I am building a '67 dart drag car and trying to keep a small old school look. A 413 or 416 max wedge is impossible to find in bare bones. I saw an intake for the 440 that would keep the old school look. Would it be good for racing? Thoughts?

Picked up these to build for local track racing. Barracuda has a built 318 for now and the dart is a six waiting to be removed. I am still researching the dart. The title says 1967 but it has 1968 marker lights. I am the second owner and have a copy of the original title. The car was purchased...

My '64 Valiant has a manual column shift transmission. The car is a 170 I think. When I upgrade to a V8 (undecided on 340 or 440 yet) can I use the original transmission and just change the bellhousing and such or do I have to get a different trannsmission.

A question on replacement. Do I need to purchase original designed pans or can I get away with just a straight sheet of metal. I'm not building a prize car just something to terrorize the streets with. Its a '64 Valiant. Thanks. :blob:
