[FOR SALE] 1964 Valiant Signet and V200 door trim parts

As shown in the picture. I have tried to identify each part correctly. Generally I ask for $40 USD for one part. If you want more than one, how about adding another $20 per part. If you want some of the longer pieces...we may have to tack on a few more bucks because of size/shape. Would...

    A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

This one time, I facilitated a buy for a guy from Minnesota for a '63 Valiant Wagon in Sacramento California. He came out to give it a run through for the drive back and we got to talking.....turns out he did tattoos....and coincidentally put 2" tall block letter tattoo that said "Elvis" of the...

I didn't use anything but the rubberized nuts and they have been fine. As long as you make your holes just the right size. Oh no. I beg to differ. Sakatoons are not like haskaps! Sakatoons are of the blueberry family, but they are native to this region. I wouldn't think that KY is the right...

Hrm, could be, them Road Toad's are a breed to their own.......I would find a parts manual and get a part number or go direct and check with a manufacturer's website. Alternately, get the one you have fixed at a shop and then install a reducer/splicer in the line to lessen the pressure in the...

    A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

There is no special reinforcement. I am sure that today there would be, but remember, seat belts and back up lights were options back then. They are attached to the roof via 2 fine thread bolt each. Each screw is anchored with a rubberized nut. A nut in a rubber sleeve essentially. When...

    A Body WAGONS-Ho! A body Wagon Thread

Howdy guys. Anyone restored a roof rack? They can be a pain to disassemble after 50+ years. The mounting parts can be rechromed. The roof rails are stainless steel, so dings can be taken out and they can be buffed. But what about the rails on top?

'64 Valiant Hood latch return spring

That bent rod is the release lever. Yes, it is a snug squeeze to get fingers in there. And that is my question. I seem to remember one of my past '64 Valiants, that there was some sort of return spring or something. Currently, I have to move the lever one way to unlatch the hood. And when I...

'64 Valiant Hood latch return spring

Both of mine have the same cotter pin set up on the lever, including the picture in my first post. I bet there is/was some sort of torsion spring to get the release lever to return. My memory is telling me I once had a Valiant where the lever did return. There is more to be found out......
