    Moparfest 2012

I will be there with the family. I don't have the Valiant together quite yet, but we will be bringing our 1980 Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle. We are actually vendors at the show, come by booth #163 and say Hello!

    Megaspeed

My wife and I have a small company that sells custom car art, we had hoped to attend the Megaspeed show as a vendor, but it just didn't work out this year. At least we know that we are definitely "in" for Moparfest.

    Plymouth Valiant Signet 4d

I am really enjoying your build thread! I have a 66 Valiant Signet HT, that I am still trying to put together. Keep up the great work!

    subframe connectors

I made mine out of 11 gauge but I think the stock front and rear frames that we are connecting are 14 gauge (some one correct me if I'm wrong).

    subframe connectors

Hey Small block, I made my own "uscartool style" connectors for my 66 valiant. I still have the templates I made and would be willing to send you a tracing of them for the greater good of the early A enthusiast. Let me know,

    any mountain bikers here?

We love to ride and hit the trails when ever we can. The little one rips on her strider, I have a Santa Cruz VP free and my wife rides a Norco Wolverine.

    Pictures of floor needed

The 67-76 hump needs some modification to fit the floor, mostly at the back. I haven't ordered the 4 speed carpet yet, I'm hoping it fits OK. I actually found this one at a swap meet, still new in a Laysons bag. I have seen them advertised online at a few places, Dantesparts, National...

    Pictures of floor needed

Here are a few pics of my US 66 valiant. Let me know if you need something more specific, I can take some pics this weekend. The car came stock with rear seatbelts, bucket seats and auto trans. The 4-speed floor hump is aftermarket advertised as fitting 67-76.

    Frame Connectors?

I used thick wire and bent it along the floor to get the basic shape. Transfered that to the press board and cut it out. I then put the press board in place and used a thick black marker to trace along the floor and the press board then cut out the black marks on the press board to refine the...

    Frame Connectors?

Thanks! It cost me $40 Canadian for the channels bent to spec. Maybe another $20 in supplies (cut off wheels, welding wire etc). Not sure how much they weigh.

    Frame Connectors?

Here are the ones I made for my 66. The pattern is made out of press board and I had a local shop bend the channel out of 11 gauge. I then transfered the pattern to the metal channel and cut it out.

    Finally getting an early A-Body

Your car is looking great. I see in another thread you have the paint booth ready to go and waiting for your car. I ended up just hacking the lip off the back and making a piece to fit. Hope the pictures help

66 Barracuda 4 speed crossmember and floor tunnel

I used the "$149" one Vic mentioned. Here's how it looked fresh out of the box, sitting on the floor of my 66 Valiant.

Stock 65 Valiant Slant Six engine bay pictures?

Here's a pic of mine. It's a 66 but it's a complete and original car (still has the original paint and factory stickers). Not sure if there was any difference under the hood from 65 to 66...

    Finally getting an early A-Body

Congratulations on the progress you've made in such a short time! Your car is going to be awsome. I bought the 67-76 a body one that "requires a few minor bends and cutting..." Here how it fit in my car, the biggest gap was at the back.

    Frame connectors?

Thanks for the compliments (where's the little smiley with the expanding head? LOL). I used a 5" angle grinder to get it close to the line and a small air powered die grinder to finish. I never thought about selling the patterns. I still have them, I could trace them onto paper and mail it to...

    Frame connectors?

After having my car on the lift and checking the door gaps I decided it was time to install frame connectors. I didn't want to cut into the floor. I liked the look of US Car Tools frame connectors but they are not available for early A's. Here's are a few pictures of how I made mine. The...

Floor Pans... Where to get them?

I bought my drivers side front from kramerautodotcom around six months ago. I just check there web site now and noticed the 63-66 a body catalog is missing. At the time I called in my order I was told the website prices needed to be revised...

    66 floor pans needed

Hello, I recently replaced the left front floor pan on my 66 valiant. I ordered mine through Kramer auto, but it had the same p/n MP-500-L that Rick listed. I was happy with the quality and fit.

We go to that car show pretty much every week. A drive to Kelseys could be arranged, it would depend on the date & time though.
