Engine Quest Dodge Magnum Heads New Zealand castings.

You're probably already aware but it's a good idea to break all the machined edges on those heads with a small fine file. Those early EQ heads had some really nasty sharp edges. I have a pair and learned the hard way.

    Intake manifold questions

I was able to find out more info on this manifold. Was basically a small carb manifold designed for mpg gains on stock smog engines of the 70's it seems. Not the bargain I had hoped it was. I did not buy it once I found out what it actually was. Thanks guys.

    Intake manifold questions

I ran across this intake manifold for sale and trying to find out what it is exactly. Have been unable to find info on the Edelbrock website or Google. Looks like a single plane in the photos but is listed as a street performer for small block mopar in the ad. Would it be worth buying for use on...

    No oil to top end

I made myself one from a piece of 5/16" by 24" long hex stock that I cut to 16" length. Had to order it from Grainger Supply. Worked very well for me. You might be able to make one using a long piece of 1/4" square (key way) stock (available at the big orange lumber place), a 1/4" drive 5/16"...

BEWARE of doing business with 340bird71

How about some input here from the buyer himself as to why he decided to go ahead with the purchase? Based on the photos posted with the ad I personally would have taken a hard pass. Did he negotiate a better than asking price by chance? I fully agree that the engine was not anything near the...

Looks like it's now out of stock...all the other sellers were apparently drop shipping from Hurst as they all show item out of stock as well. I don't believe it will ever be back in stock at that sale price.

The tank test video is from 2020, that $45 tank(5gal) has gone up to $75. They show a 7gal for $129. Might get one for myself. I remember when the tool truck salesmen sold kits to convert empty refrigerant cans to portable air tanks!
