I used grey under the hood. I may have needed another coat but it looks pretty light to me. I thought about black to give it the deeper purple tone. I'm about to do the dash and interior so I will experiment.

I just finished my engine bay with ss plum crazy from PPG. It looks a little light to me. What color primer should be used under the plum paint to get the proper finish shade?

Pick up a stock 360 manifold for $50 or less and an Edelbrock 1406 for $300. If you want a little better intake find a Eddy Performer. Consider an electronic ignition if it doesn't have one.

I got a set from O'reilly a couple of weeks ago. Not sure on the part number but it was their brand. Had to order from warehouse but only took two days. They said 49.99 but negotiated price to 34.99 each.

I feel like it should be simple but I can't get the pedal rod out of the master cylinder piston on my 1970 Dart. I'm replacing the mc drum/drum. What am I missing?

Yep. The brown is not a bad color combo, but I'm getting input from my 15 year old son. He's just Plum Crazy about this Dart....Sorry I couldn't resist.

I've noticed the same. My Challenger was the same way. Both front fenders have rust on lower rear. Also, looking for the headlight bezel for drivers side.

The plan here is Plum Crazy with black stripe package and black hood. We are just trying to get her on the road for now. Looking to get the motor and trans back in there this weekend. I have thought about going ahead and painting under the hood before the motor goes in. Also, taking a chance...

I am new to the A body scene having just aquired a 1970 Dart Custom one owner survivor. Cranked her up today for the first time in over 20 years. I may know a lot of you from the E body site. I have the Dart, as well as, a 72 Challenger, 78 D100, 77 Warlock, and an 81 D150. Got to love em!
