how close is too close to your tie rod end

Planning to order some custom backspacing on some 15x6 wheels. I have 2inch drop spindles and willwood disk brakes. Probably going to go with the 215/60/15. I have a 15x6.5 rim with 4.25" B.S. and I have about 3/4" between the two. Would like to tuck the tire in as far as I can as expected...

    15x6 front rims

Anybody put on 15x6 wheels in the front of your a body? Was thinking of doing 4.25 backspacing some cop wheels.. doesn't look like I would have clearance issues but hard to tell. Was thinking of going with 215/65/15 t/a's.

    drop spindles

I am new to the website. Working on a 67 valiant. I have magnum forces 2 inch drop spindles. Wondering if anybody has put these on and what backpacking they have used. Was thinking of doing 15x6 steel wheels. Sounds like 4.5 to 5 has been the standard for backspacing with the drop spindles.

    New brake lines

I am planning to bend my own SS brake lines on my Valaint.. Does everybody go with In Line or somebody else? Or does it matter? I am guessing it is more of the quality of work vs parts

    Proportioning valve?

I am new to the website. I am working on a 67 valiant. I have heard that for cars under 3000 lbs you dont need a proportioning valve. Has any anybody put disk brakes on the front with without a porportioning valve?
