    timing problem

    thanks its at 10 degress now .runs good but needs more power.any advice on h.p. parts

    just put in new timing chain and gears,runs good but only at 12 degrees.book said it should be around 6-8 .is this to much timing for this engine.this is a 1972 318 2bbl.with only 90.000 miles

    just put in new timing chain on 318 2bbl stock motor.runs great but timing is at 12 degrees,what do you think about the 12 degrees on timing.i like to have it closer to stock setting like 6 or 8.

    Just bought '72 Scamp 318

    Looking for a speedometer cable, keeps jumping around may need to be replaced. Will need other parts later.
