Ok received the intake.. looks to me someone sand blasted the holy hell out of it.. so now how do I smooth/sand the mounting flanges flat?

Kinda figured the wallet thing.. has an imperfection on the bottom side. Even the bolt holes for the carb are not tapped

Picked up an edelbrock SBM intake that is uncut-not machined.. Iam not sure what to do now honestly, do I need to take my car and new intake to machine shop? Take the new and old intake to machine shop? Thanks for any replies

Do mishaps happen alot?.. maybe iam lucky. Rebuilt a 340 stroked 416 by myself.. converted auto to 4 speed.. rebuilt tranny a833. With the help of a-body only. And the only leak I have is the damn thermostat housing.. guess iam lucky
