1970 318 cubic inch motor. Bought the listed cam in the title which is for 273 thru 360 1964 thru 2002. The end journal is too big and won't fit into the block. What does that mean? Does it mean the cam that cam out had an undersized journal and had an oversized cam bearing installed? Please...

The chemicals they use on the roads up here are terrible. I work for Mack trucks here and ALL of the town trucks have rotted out oil pans from what they use on the roads. We replace oil pans every week in our shop.

Are you sure? I know the chrome trim pieces that bolt to them are side specific but I thought the hinges were the same part # for both sides?

Long story short, pulled the 318 out of the car 15 years ago. Engine is long gone and now have a 340 to go in. The 340 has the brackets bolted on but I don't have the rubber cushions. I am posting pics of the mounts as well as a pic of a rubber mount I found online. Is this what I need to...
