True. I was just trying to pass it to my Mopar brothers first. Again, if I had the cash and room, I would have bought it from him. :)

Dart 383 for soon for Sale in SoCal -- Just passing it along... Not mine

Not trying to help him. Trying to keep it in the abody bbody family. He had a Mustang prior to that. Don’t really know the guy. Anyway, glad I could pass it along.

Dart 383 for soon for Sale in SoCal -- Just passing it along... Not mine

I have been vindicated! I hope somebody in the community gets this thing. Definately a CA car compared to everything I’d seen on the east coast for 50 years. Moved out here 5 years ago for work and the condition of these CA cars amazes me!

He said he’d text it to me but nothing so far. Look for it on Los Angeles Craigslist and he should have contact info there. I’m just passing it along.

So I'm back home and I looked on LA Craigslist. This is not it...his has a 383 and more like b5. Who thought there would be another blue Dart for sale! Anyway, I'll see if he is going to list it or wants to pass it to me here to pass along.

Dart 383 for soon for Sale in SoCal -- Just passing it along... Not mine

Hey all, not even sure if I should bother to post this. But, my neighbor recently picked up probably the most amazing condition b5 68 or 69 383 Dart I've seen. I have a 70 Road Runner and he dropped by after he got it a few months ago. I looked it over and while it is pretty much stock, I was...

[SOLD] Set of Five Goodyear Polyglas FR70-14s and 14x6 Road Wheels

The tires are the recent radial version of the polyglas. I doubt I have 100 miles on them and they are all about 2 years old. The road wheels are oem and the extra without a ring is nos that I was going to use for a spare. I’m not too pressed to sell these but any takers at 2500 can pick them...

    Carbon canister temp question

Just repeating what the "old timer" custom home builder said. I lived in the mid-south for most of my life and now live out here due to a job. Maybe gas hangs in more humid climates? Who knows. But I do remember seeing attached garages but not where I grew up in Virginia. Anyway, I was not...

    Carbon canister temp question

Not my car yet. Car is a survivor but a ca rust free car. But when I grew up with these things I knew no one with an attached garage. Only a parking lot, car port or garage not attached to the house. I recently met an old carpenter that told me they tried to avoid attached garages due to open...

    Carbon canister temp question

Thanks! I was wondering how the heck it could be hot? The hoses were sitting on the heater hoses. Carb vent and pcv hoses were all hooked up. But I guess everything is going to get hot or engine temp on a 94 degree day as well.

    Carbon canister temp question

Hey all! I’m mainly a pre emissions guy. I looked at a 73 Dart for sale today and I noticed that the evap canister was fairly warm after driving it around. I’ve actually never tried to touch one but I brushed up against it and was surprised that it was hot to the touch. Almost a little bit...

    Catalytic converters

Hey everyone, I'm mainly an FBBO user, a coworker told me about these that were patented in 2020. I think he did not like the ride in my 70 RR. :) I just started poking around and found this thread to see if anyone had been brave enough to try them out. Very interesting and there is a demo...

Suitable Vapor / Over fill valve for retrofit

Thanks!!! I have confirmation of what to do! The 68 satellite does not have a vent tube on the filler neck. It has two short flared vent tubes coming out of the tank. Originally, both tank tubes connect via hose to two lines that vent to open air. One tube goes up and back down and the...

Suitable Vapor / Over fill valve for retrofit

Hello everyone! I am an FBBO guy (same username) but have had 67, 68, and a 69 Darts in my younger days. A few years ago, I retrofitted a 68 Satellite based on slantdixdan's fantastic article at Allpar. It worked great but I now live in the foothills of Los Angeles with lots of hills. After...
