    aftermarket fuel gauge

    Dave; Nice looking gage set up. My gages on my 65 Barracuda have all died. I replaced the voltage limiter only to find that the gages we all ready fried. Would you please send me, or post the information for the items you purchased for you under dash set-up. Thanks

    273 correct heads?

    I do not have adjustable rockers, and the push rods are hollow. The cam I have no idea. My big concern was if the heads were from a 318. According to Avispa the numbers on the heads are for a 273.

    Thanks to all of you. ...the reason why I was questioning if the heads were correct was because they have hydraulic lifters. So is it correct that the 273 came with adjustable rockers originally? Or did some come direct from the factory with hydraulic lifters.

    the heads on my 1965, 273 has a casting number of 2465315-2 with hydraulic lifters. Are these the correct heads or are they from a 318 engine?

    I wanted to up those that gave useful suggestions. While checking the Red and Black wires at the fire wall I could see where they had been hot at a some time. Further investigation I found that the red and black wires at the AMP gage were never tightened and that the wires had melted together...

    360 runs great one day and then poorly the next

    My gasket is approx. 1/8 inch thick..I'll start my own thread and describe me issue. That way I won't clutter this one and make it confusing. Thanks for the input.

    interesting that it looks like it may have been an intermittent carb issue. I'll double check which gasket I put under the carb after it was rebuilt. At this time I am running the original (freshly rebuilt) Carter 2bbl ball & ball.
