Yes, a must. After eighteen years of planning for our new shop the hoist was on the list. We decided to place the posts on 3 foot deep piles with a steel pile cap and J hooks. The hoist posts are welded to that cap. The heated floor was poured around the piles.

We made it down. Two and a half day trip for us. Left a foot of new snow behind on Saturday. Gorgeous weather here. Time to unload the cars. Yippee!
