67-72 have a smaller rubber pedal pad vs the 73-76. Both bolt up the same. Ditto on the bearing or bushing comment.

Yes, your 72 probably has no provision in the harness to hook up the switch anyway.

So 67-72 the pedal rubber pads are smaller. Starting in 73 they are larger and they added a clutch interlock switch (small round thing with wire coming from it) which keeps you from starting engine unless clutch is pushed in. Will they bolt in? Yes. Will a purest point it out? Yes.

All levers are in neutral position. Only one it won't go in is 1st.

UPDATE; So I pulled the side cover off again and counted the input to output shaft rotations. About 2.5+/- to 1. Which tells me it probably has something to do with 1st gear. I put the cover back on and can move the reverse lever into reverse and it locks up. I can move the forward (closest to...
