Over the weekend I pulled part the 383 down to the bare block an packed it away under the bench until the time comes to build it up I then pulled the small block out an tore the top end apart just to check things out, ordered new gaskets an od an ends. Next is a scrub an a paint job

For a street setup they are just fine in my eyes. It's a fixed gear setup unlike the "chevy" floating style.
