Car was originally a slant 6 without AC. It now has an LA360. No sway bars at this time.

Rear sits at 26 1/2 with the leafs on P255/60R15's

Rear leafs are from Hotchkis, which lower 1" from factory (part 24385). Torsion bars, not too sure but they looks to be 1" or slightly smaller.

So I just looked and it looks like the previous owner removed the LCA bumpers completely. Never crossed my mind to check before posting this thread.

Any particular series/model?

I do need some new shocks regardless. Any good suggestions that wont break the bank? This is a weekend cruiser and corning from time to time with no intent to track/strip.

Looking for some front shock recommendations for my 68 Barracuda. Currently, the shocks installed seem to be bottoming out when hitting bumps. Front is sitting lower than stock (about 23 1/2" from floor to bottom of fender) Tires - P205/60R15. Not too sure what other details I can provide here...

What is everyone's thoughts on Moog suspension components?

Unfortunately, same case with the trans pan in regards to shavings. ATF doesn't look as burnt/metallic sheen but that's because new fluid was added prior to removing it.

On another note, ATF looked/smelled a bit burnt and had a metallic sheen to it. Looks like a rebuild or replacement is in my near future. If I decide to replace altogether, any reputable transmission companies out there that sell 904's with warranties?

Tool from Brewer's worked like a charm. Unfortunately, jacked up the rear and still lost about a quart of ATF (oh well). I used 7" race ramps so maybe it wasn't high enough? Three days since seal was properly installed and no leaks whatsoever.

What is the grease fitting size for the outer tie rod ends? Or, does it all depend? I figured 1/4" x 28 but having a hard time getting the fittings to thread.

Looks like I may have to find a local welder/fabricator/muffler shop to do a custom exhaust section to clear it. Any ideas to how much someone like that would/should charge? I can't imagine it would be much with mild steel.

Another problematic area here. The way my exhaust comes off the headers is making contact with my pitman arm. Aside from fabricating a new section of exhaust pipe to have enough clearance, can anything else be done? Currently, the bottom of the exhaust comes in contact with the top of the pitman...

Are there instructions or a video out there somewhere to show exactly how to use it? I'm new to the project car scene and cutting my teeth as I go along.

Another thought here. Would I be able to replace the 67 bracket with a 68-69 version? Seems like that would add more rigidity.

I believe the bolt size may be different on each hanger. Will have to check.
