The ground & ignition wires both look black. I’m not worried about the battery wire to the switch or the starter because I have the old ones that I can bring to the parts store and match to get new ones. But you think the ignition and ground wires are 12 or 10 gauge?

Today I opened up my 66 Dart and did some work to her. I did a new air filter, fuel filter + hoses and I installed a new radiator cap. Can anyone tell me what this hose that runs off the port to the radiator cap connects to? And also is the cap neck supposed to be on an angle? Refer to pics

It’s the fact that as far as preservation of the car, I don’t really want to put any extra foreign welds or fabrication onto the car. I’m trying to keep an original theme to it which is why I’m looking to use Mopar parts off of other makes and models to try to maintain originality
