I have a 67 273 auto car and was wanting to switch to a console shifter, i think it would make the car more disirable. i have the center console, the only thing that i need is information on cutting, tips and tricks, and any kits i can get to setup the linkage. Thanks, -George

there was no headers on the 273 when i got it. holly carb old referbished one and an original 318 intake thats been painted

i have a 318 intake so i can put a 4 barrel carb on it, and i also have a 600 4 barrel that has been rebuild and long tube headers.

so what should i do, everyones telling me different things and im just confused and a bit overwhelmed. i have 700 in 273 parts already from before i had go pull it.

i think its just to much money for everything and the car will be to modded out. think im just ganna rebuild 273 myself ‍♂️

Breaks have been done, aswell as front suspension. im definitely struggling with not going crazy with the build. this car has all the potential in the world. to be honest i should just get the 273 block machined and rebuild it myself, put 2k into it and slap my 4 barrel carb on with a 318 intake...

yea, i think the 340 is the way to go, if i can get everything i need. the guy is selling them together so i think all i need to figure out is the mounting components and the driveshaft and it will be fine. i will also need a tunnel for the transmission but with everything out of the car it...
