It wasnt bad. The hardest part was waiting for the hardware store to open the next day. What you saw was a threaded pipe shoved into the broken pipe, a valve screwed on the end, and a ton of electric tape to hold it all together. It worked for the night so we could still use the water, then in...

My luck today... just hoping it holds until morning when the hardware store opens. We work with what we have. The valve broke off around 10 pm, I thread taped a piece of threaded pipe, screwed it in with pliers, screwed a shutoff valve on the end, and taped the hell out of it.

Looks like D31 on my plate. Some googling tells me it should be an A904 transmission.
