    sleeve a block

    I have a '72 340 block that I got in a trade. It had dropped a valve and punched a hole in the cylinder wall. I was thinking of making a stroker out of it. It's 20 over. Would this be possiable by putting in a sleeve? Would it be strong enough? Thanks, Tom

    Mine comes in at 2850..no back seat, glass hood, racing seats, 360, 727, 8 3/4, manual stearing and brakes, 1/4 tank of gas. Weighed it at the track.

    I have a 20 over 360 with 9.5 comp., worked edelbrock heads, M1 intake, TTI headers and 1.6 rockers. I have a 650 DP on it now and it runs mid 12's. I put my buddies 750 DP on it and it ran 12 0's and has went high 11's a few times. A friend has a 850 DP I can get for $100. Is this too much carb...

    Yes, I intend on painting it. I attempted it before but the paint I have wouldn't stick to the gel coat. I need to do some research on the proper paint to use.

    I have the 509 cam with a Mopar single plane, Edelbrock heads, 750 carb, MSD 7al, TTI headers, 3500 stall, 430 gear, 28 inch Quick Time Pros, almost the same setup...best of [email protected] so far, still needs some tuning. Good luck I'm sure you'll have a blast.

    It is a '71 grill. When I got it there was about 6 coats of different color paint on it. I cleaned it up the best I could. Wouldn't win a car show but it looks pretty good.

    Took the car out to the Mopar Maddness show. Ran it's best ever run...11.98 @ 113.25 in bad air. Can't wait to go again!

    Yes, Little Guy Nats. There were more Mopars there than any other brand! I was parked right next to Tommy Corbet and he helped me out more than anyone could ask. He pulled my carb and put his double pumper on it, tuned it, and it picked up almost a second. He says there's another second in it...
