I need to try some of that evapo-rust because this home made stuff works good but you have to watch that acid eating the metal haha Some of the parts that I wanted to look natural, I just clear coated it right after I pulled it out and dried it. Really looked good!

    My 71 Plymouth Duster Resto

Since I live in a apartment and my car is 35 min away I can only work on it on the weekends. So that gives me alot of time to work on mini projects during the week! I kind of look at it as a bunch of mini projects and keeps me from getting overwhelmed looking at all the stuff I have to do to...

DartNut - I would have definitely used the 73 K frame but the donor car I got was used for alittle drag racing and they cut the K frame all at the motor mounts. I think they had some other engine in this thing.. either a big block or another manufacture engine. Another reason is I had already...

Im still learning this whole process but my brother told me after I got the leaf springs bolted up to the rear end that I should have bolted the front of the leaf springs to the car first, then roll the rear end under the car, and bolt the rear and drop the U-bolts down last.. haha. He was...

My goal at the moment is to get it back on the ground so I can roll it around. That will help alot on the rest of the resto and also allow me to load it up on...

I'm sorry.. I totally misunderstood your question.. haha I was thinking you were asking about the new tires. I dont have those old tires and rims anymore but I believe they were 70's or 75's They were older tires that were starting to dry rot alittle. But they looked to have been put on in...

They are Cooper Cobra's 235/60/15's for the Front 275/60/15's for the rear 15 x 7 up front and 15 x 8 for the rear. I believe thats the largest tire you can put under there with out rubbing. I might be wrong though.

This car wasnt totally undercoated just in the wheel well areas. Im not sure if that was standard on all of them but I wanted to keep it all like it came. So I just brush painted the the underside with Semi Gloss Rustoleum paint. As of now all that Ive got is what you see in the pictures. Im...
