    disc brake pedal low

Hostile my :bootysha:. My appologies plumduster, was just trying to lend a hand and didn't want to piss all over your thread. I stayed away from this site for quite a while and I think I will get back to it. Hey mods, can you delete my account please, I'm through here.

    disc brake pedal low

{I don't think this is a bleeding problem. If it was you would not be able to "pump up" to a good pedal--it would still be mushy. I think either the rears are too loose (adjustment) or the master bore is a mismatch to the disc/ rear cylinder bores.} Then I will just leave the mechanicing...

    Popping back in exhaust

Did the car do this before? Is this why you changed the cam? If not I'm going with vacuum leak on, especially since you stated it smooths out on higher rpm. Check the intake with WD40/starting fluid along both sides see if it smooths the idle. Can't imagine dist, valves or carb if it didn't...

I just use one of those but my car is in my 2,400 sq ft shop out here in CA so I really don't know if it's good in the weather.

    disc brake pedal low

If you have a power bleeder you can. Easiest trick is to pull them off, slide a chunk of 2x4 in and have someone pump them while you rotate the bleeder to the high side and do this several times for each one and then you'll be set. Make sure you put a little hose on the end of the bleeder unless...

    disc brake pedal low

I am guessing you've never bled a set of Kelseys before. Bleeding them mounted on the car is never going to get all the air out.

    7 1/4 Rear End, sbp

You guys crack me up, you got to be creative. They eat those things up for the Cub Cadet and old IH pulling tractors. I sold the chunk and axles out of one of those to a guy in Wi for $125, they shorten the axles, make a few changes to their Cub Cadet gear boxes and they drop right in. Get this...

http://www.engineshipping.com/ Used them dozens of times, just strap it on a pallet and they pick it up and door to door service or terminal shipping. I thought they had good prices for the level of service.

    Is he smoking crack??

I've bought parts from him, most are priced decent in my opinion but I don't shop at ChinaMart so perhaps my threshold is different than those complaining. I think about the effort a person like him has gone through to locate these original parts, build a warehouse to store them, advertise...

    Sending unit float?

If your float wasn't heavy or obviously filled with gas and you stated it floats in water, you probably don't have a problem with it. Not knowing any other details I would suspect a bad ground, you probably gave it a good ground when you tested it but you need to make sure your ground strap is...

Not up on Schumacher's mounts, just make sure their mounts are for the spool K. You have the spool K and the mounts will fit if for that style.

    1973 340 Engine - 30K on Rebuild

This is a 340 that was pulled from a 73 Cuda, it was a strong running engine that has just over 30K on a .030" rebuild. This block was cast on May 29, 1973 and was assembled on May 30, 1973. The engine was the 139th built in the Windsor, Ontario plant that day. Numbers on pan rail are 3B576569...

    1970 340 Engine - Complete

This is a 340 that was pulled from a 70 Duster, it was running good but starting to burn a little oil. Another 340 was built and this one was pulled when that one was done. The block was cast on July 10, 1969 and was assembled on Sept. 18, 1969. The engine was the 173rd built in the Windsor...

What Holley CFM's For Mild 383?

I would go with a 750 single feed like the factory, no need for a DP at this point. If he upgrades later he will need a different carb, for example, you can't stuff an 850 Dominator on it now, in hopes of growing into it. Think of an engine as an air compressor, the carb has to match the...

    Lights pulsate

I'm with fishy on this, seem it many times and the melted dash by the alt gauge is a giveaway. Visit www.bigblockdart.com and go to the tech pages, they have a feed on there about switching to a 89 & up 90 amp Mopar alt and bypassing the ancient alt gauge. It's not hard and no more dim lights at...
