If its an 8 lug it could have full float axles w/12" drum brakes. That rearend is huge for an a body. Do you know what it's out of?

I bought a rebuilt 8 3/4 w/489 posi. new brakes and all for $600.

I don't see a problem with using it. Until I found a 8 3/4" for mine I had a 9 1/4" out of a B body in mine. I moved the perches and used 5 1/2" backspace on 8" rims.
