I agree with sscuda...The PPP shifter is the best on the market today. I had the Cheetah for 15 years and then I switched to the PPP. You can easily miss a gear with the Cheetah, but with the PPP there is no chance of that.

Thanks Tony! I'm going to keep the 4.57 gears for when I change to a solid roller cam...then I wont need to worry about spinning up to 7000 rpm's

What would be the drop in RPM's going from 4.57 to 4.30 gears. It's in an 8 3/4 with 29.5" tires. Coming through the traps at about 6400 and about to spray the motor with a 150hp shot so I need to drop some rpm's on the top end.

I just got one from Cope Racing Transmissions and I have to say it is a great tranny. The owner John is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable guys I have ever spoken to and he builds a mean tranny. You really get what you pay for so just suck it up like we all did and get a good tranny built.
