It's easy to do. I used -6 on my 727. I used a little under 12 ft total, way safer then the rubber garbage I was using before.

The drive shaft will more then likely need to be cut down a bit (measure to be sure, every car is a little different). Everything else should bolt up. You can get axles from Mancini, Randy's ring and pinion, Strange, or Moser.

The seals can dry out and it'll leak like a sive. On the upshot, for $100 it's not bad, the steals/bands should still be good and I wouldn't imagine it would cost very much to freshen it up. I'd say go for it.

Double check the spring perches on the truck housing, last time I saw a truck 8 3/4 the perches were on the top of the axles tubes instead of the bottom like they are in the cars.
