I would say no less than 350-300 based on condition. I was lucky, some guy gave mine to me for free about two weeks before I broke my 7 1/4 haha. It had 11in drums too.

My 8 1/4 came from a 74 Dart and had a 2:45 gear and I had no problem installing a new suregrip with 3:55 gear in it.

You can find them in 96 and older Dodge trucks with the 8 1/4 dif (RAM and Dakotas). Just make sure they are 27 spline. Have you checked out Randy's Ring and Pinion? Got a suregrip, 3.55 gear, and a rebuild kit from them a few years back and loved how my diff turned out. Check out this link...
