    Jakes65's upgrades coming

Well I guess you have it all planned out. A well built 904 would fit right in with no mods and some here would argue its just as strong as, and lighter than, a 727. Are you and Jake making it to Carlisle again this year?

    Jakes65's upgrades coming

Maybe pop in a 8.25 rear axle and upgrade the front brakes so all 4 corners are the big bolt pattern. :happy1:

    A998 w/ Lockup in a 65 Dart with 273

I know you are trying to keep the look stock but a Lokar throttle pressure cable would replace the linkage. Or you could make a newer shorter rod in that location. Keep the build info coming! :happy1:

    Kickdown cable recommendations?

With Apologies to Sweets for hijacking his thread. There is no doubt the Lokar system is the best looking and functional cable out there. That's probably why there aren't more of them on the market. The cheap eBay knockoffs are just that, cheap, not low buck. The Bouchillon kit is nice too...

    anyone running a th400 hydramatic?

If your friend is a professional tranny rebuilder, he should be able to get parts for a 727 from his suppliers. If he can do a th400, he can do a 727 for you. It may be cheaper to have him do the chevy tranny for you, but the cost to get it mounted to a Mopar engine will make it a wash or worse...

    904 help

I performed my first 904 overhaul last year on the 66 with great results and installed a Transgo shift improver kit. One of the issues it claims to resolve is front bushing and seal burn up. I used their SK®TFSC kit and I really like the shift firmness. I'm not a transmission expert by any...

    drivetrain shudder? driveshaft length?

How are the rear springs? Check the thread below. It helped me diagnose my vibration @ 70 Mph as my saggy rear leafs. Temp fix was adding helper springs, added 1 1/2" lift and the vibration is minimized greatly. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=62042

    reaen end vibration

I have a similar vibration problem @ 70 mph and I haven't yet changed the original leaf springs. The left leaf sags a bit and I'm guessing this also effects the pinion angle causing a vibration. This is my first post here. Lots of great info so I thought I would join and participate when I can.
