yeah hit the link that should bring up the pictures i took there were like 21 of them. I figured it would work here also(did for me) as it worked over at Moparts. Swap meet was the same as normal..cool to look but mostly either over priced or junk or both...there were a few decently priced...

    After a bit of Work.

Dude DON'T get bigger than 15's on a CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR...I SWEAR every time I see a REAL NICE car(meaning old Muscle Car era car) riding around on 17+" rime I start thinking its gonna stop and Clowns are gonna start jumping out like 10 of them switch drivers and then all pile back in...looks...

    68- 340 worth?

$700 for all...its worth more to someone wanting to do a 340 resto..but if its not a "original engine" to the car or going to a FAST racer or someone that really needs a 340 its not worth as much..I mean IF the 340 in the Dart Sport ever went south and was not rebuildable...id just go 360...

Just bought a '71 Demon...I just might be in trouble

Yeah, good deal! I love Demons..wish they had not Dropped the NAME for 73 or id have a 73 Demon 340 :) instead of a Dart Sport lol

    Another WIW

no more than it would cost to get yours redone/replated. actually if anything it shlould be LESS :) . Im assuming around the $300-350 mark was a decent price for plating a set of bumpers but that was a few years ago..thats what i paid for the RoadRunners bumpers. Call a bumper plating place...

How much do you have invested?

Uggh this topic hit close to home...and honestly is why I have the Dart Sport now. I had a 69 RoadRunner previously B3 Blue with the black hood stripes 2 tone blue interior. It cost me $4500 as a project car back in about 1996/7 or there abouts...ended up needing a LOT more work than was...

    Wheels, considering going 17"

Honest answer...Yuk....I guess im just a purist(or however you spell it) I just think when you start whipping anything over 15(guess ive seen SOME but NOT MANY 16" that look ok) that it just starts making the car look ....well cartoonish. I like a muscle car to look like well a muscle car...not...

Would any of you guys be interested in...?

Ive used Laysons and they were fine...but ive also heard the horror stories. A group buy does not sound bad...unfortunately I really don't need anything but a headliner and thats about it......

If Not an A-bodie Than What Would it be?

Actually right now I guess the Mopar I would take would be a 71 RoadRunner...BUT before I got that the car(S) id like to have would be 1. 87 Buick Grand National 2. 67/68 Mustang(fastback ONLY) 3. 64 Mercury Cyclone(with the big hood scoops) 4. 70/71 Buick GS Stage1 I would rather have...

A little Bling for the Barracuda

I agree a black stripe on that or IMO any solid color car really wakes it up. Mine looked kinda boring b4 i put the stripe, wing, rims on it ...looks like a whole new car now. People actuall have asked me if I traded/sold my old one FOR the "one I have now" they are astonished its the same car :)...

    Who cares!??

I don't care, Im NOT in it for the $$$$ if I was id have kept the 69RoadRunner,Charger 500, or 70 RoadRunner .....I just like old cars no matter what the make/model. hate restoring them love driving them! When I get one I have no problem changing it to be what I want!

My Demon made it thru emissions!!

ok now I know the States on my would never live in them list...the ones requiring emissions on Muscle Car era cars :( . TOTALY LAME!

    904 to 727 swap

IMO just rebuild the 904 with QUALITY parts and it can be made to easily live behind a 400 HP SB...plus its LIGHTER than a 727 and lighter=QUICKER.

    **r*a*n*t**

lots of Bondo in that rearend!
  27. 7

    **r*a*n*t**

Just depends on intended use...I got the 8 1/4 in my 340 Dart Sport and if I keep it under 450 HP it will last just fine. Good rearend much better than "most" think. and I dont care about gear interchange.I don't race it so anything between a 3.21 and 3.55 or the equivalent is fine and would...

    Paint and Body work done!

lol yeah but if they are PRE 73 bumpers did they really have any "crash" rating...more like a VERY SOFT nudge rating :). Id honestly have to say that with any pre 73 bumper that I dont think the crash rating really counts :)...as in no real absorption value no rebound bumper type is what I mean...

    Paint and Body work done!

Glass ones are WELL worth the coin and to me were CHEAPER(and much LIGHTER) than getting the originals rechromed. Got mine at AAR should be around $300 for front and rear($150 each)+shipping. I think now days it costs at LEAST that much and everywhere ive seen MORE to get a QUALITY...

    Dart/Demon Front Spoiler

Do a mock up first. I thought one would look so cool on the Dart Sport. A guy we knew actually had one laying around and I offered to buy it. We were going to put it on at his house and when we got ready to do it I told him to see if we could hold it in place first to see what it would look...
