What you are seeing on the front of the tank is for the sending unit. If you are going to use this tank make sure the sending unit is grounded or the guage will never work.

I had a 73 Duster with Aspen (same difference) brakes on it. I just took the spindles and the brakes. I used the Duster upper and lower joints and it worked fine. That is why I always try to have a spare trans yoke. I will slip it in and tie it to the tail shaft housing to keep it from leaking. I do that alot when I have to pull a trans. Alot cleaner. Just my .02

This will not be a 100% correct set up so it will not matter as far as that goes. Most won't know if the pattern is different. It will more than likely be a different type of fuse block/bulkhead connector setup. Alot of the connectors and what not are made of unobtainium and cannot be had...

Where there is a will there is a way. If you set it up for the more complex and then take away with idivdual needs it is all there. Just some minor mods. It won't be a 100% direct replacment but a cheaper alternative to a factory replacement.
