Painless wants to hear from you!

Electircal is what we are shooting to hear about. Fuel injection as well. The Mopar stuff I can tell you now is something that is hard to do but we are working on something for us "low life" Mopar guys. I can't promise anything but there should be something more for us in the near future. So...

My Demon project on Painless forum!

It is actually sitting on the stock K frame with no T bars or shocks! LOL. But that is about how it is going to sit when its done. Maybe a little lower.

My Demon project on Painless forum!

Actually that rear end was cut to fit those wheels. I also took into account if I ever wanted to run a 14 wide rim as well. I can't remember what the offset was on my Duster. I think on an 8" rim you need a 5" backspace.

My Demon project on Painless forum!

Well this is the segment where you learn that life happens! Since I started the Demon I have found myself in a different position. I am now getting divorced. No I am not selling the car. But! I am however going to be changing what I am doing with the car. The list of things to...

    Need Opinions Fast!!!

I think that they look just fine there but let me give you the one peice of advice that I have learned. Make sure that they are pointing straight at you while you are sitting in the drivers seat. If they are pointing straight back you will have a hard time seeing them at night. I would probably...

    New sharktooth grills !

Maybe you can but hell I'm trying to come up with $200 for the 12 pt. roll cage for the Demon. It seems like everytime I start to get ahead something bigger than what I have saved happens and that and the next two pay checks go bye-bye.

    70's Dart Fuel Tank

What you are seeing on the front of the tank is for the sending unit. If you are going to use this tank make sure the sending unit is grounded or the guage will never work.

    volare disc brakes on duster?

I honestly don't remember what size the drums were. I just know that they sucked and wouldn't even hardly stop a piece of paper from blowing a way if they were sitting on it. I had lowered the car by adjusting the torsion bars but I do not believe that it sat that much higher with the Aspen...

Correct way to use line locs

It looks like the line lock is mounted higher than the out put on the master cylinder. That certainly isn't going to help. Just food for thought.

    volare disc brakes on duster?

I had a 73 Duster with Aspen (same difference) brakes on it. I just took the spindles and the brakes. I used the Duster upper and lower joints and it worked fine. As a matter of fact I did the alignment with a tape measure and it never vibrated or had any premature wear on the tires. I drove the...

Dave, I may be there. But Painless will be there. Make sure that you are around when they give the El Camino away to the guy that won the contest. If I am there I will be doing video work for it. Jason

    Look please help..cragars and bs

You will more than likely need more BS than that. Do you still have your stock rims. If so and they fit under the car as is add the difference in the width to the back of the whell and then add about another 1/2". That should put you right on the money.

Preterminated means at the fuse block. With most of the universal harnesses on the market you get a fuse block and wire and you have to hook it all up. I am going to make it as direct fit as I possibly can. Like I said it may not have the actual connectors but it will have the terminals on the...

    Could this have really happened!

Good stuff. I know the first time I ever felt that happen to me I was in shock. It is a great feeling specially when you know its your car that did it.

I would make it to fit the longer of the bodies and the little exess that there would be could be tucked away in the tail panel if there was a little too much. I would more than likely either make the harness with a bulk head or use a plate to cover the original hole and put the grommet in the...

    Production #'s

This will not be a 100% correct set up so it will not matter as far as that goes. Most won't know if the pattern is different. It will more than likely be a different type of fuse block/bulkhead connector setup. Alot of the connectors and what not are made of unobtainium and cannot be had...

Where there is a will there is a way. If you set it up for the more complex and then take away with idivdual needs it is all there. Just some minor mods. It won't be a 100% direct replacment but a cheaper alternative to a factory replacement.
