I was just re-reading an older copy of Mopar Muscle where they were installing a TTI exhaust system, and Burntorange70 is right. This is how the TTI system works, using longer rear seat seatbelt bolts to attach the hangers before the mufflers. I had to laugh, because I recognized it as a TTI...

I haven't had any experience with Ultimate Rides, but I'm glad you posted this. We depend on each other to keep the vendors on the up and up. Sorry for your problems, but at least know that you are probably saving a number of other Mopar fans from the same frustrations.

Like most generic swaps, Long Beach consists of 70% GM, 28% Ford, and 2% miscellaneous (includes Mopar). I never bother unless I'm looking for the odd tool or I need buffing wheels.

I have a '71 Scamp, so let me tell you, I hope the car is as complete as possible. One year only parts on an odd model like a Scamp can be hard to come by. Some parts interchange with specific Plymouth models; some interchange with specific Dodge models. good luck!

don't have measurements handy, but keep in mind that the seat portion (vs. the backrest) will vary in depth based on whether you have a 2-door or a 4-door. I put a 4-door seat in my Scamp to give my dogs a bigger place to lay down.

If you use the metal tool, be careful not to scratch your glass or paint. Harbor Freight also sells a set of plastic pry tools that retails for about $3.99 for the entire set. The plastic ones work just as well but are less likely to cause collateral damage.

I talked to Just Dashes last year about doing this very thing --adding 2 gauge pods to my a-pillar. They quoted me a price roughly equal to one of their dash pads with the gauge pods built in. Ridiculously expensive!

Subframe connectors before torque boxes (yes, they should be welded the entire length). But if you are stripping out the interior to weld in the connectors, you might as well install torque boxes at the same time. I'd bet you'll want the torque boxes eventually, and you'll have to strip out...
