It's the SE model with the 2.5 liter four cylinder. You put that behind a six speed transmission and this commuter car moves very well. I am pleasantly surprised with the layout of the interior and the ergonomics in this machine. I think this car is going to last us a very long time.

Yes I am a high school teacher and asked my kids why so few of them drive and they mentioned it being raised to eighteen years of age. They were shocked when I said I was sixteen and driving to school daily back in the day. Not to mention my ride was a 1949 Chevy Five Window pickup.

I truly think those of us who learned how to drive and continue to drive our old muscle/street machines tend to have much better driving skills then those who do not. What do you think guys? I believe all the modern nuances have spoiled a lot of the new drivers in today's generation.

This truck doesn't have trailing arms and has some pretty hefty leaf springs in the rear. However I know what you mean about sagging. I use a 69 C-10 right now for hauling and man it sags pretty well with moderate weight. The 3/4 ton has disks in the front and drums in the rear.

Well I'm thinking of towing a dump bed type of trailer for landscape waste disposal or for transporting landscape rock. I also wouldn't mind having the capability to handle a small Ford tractor on occasion.
