    Id say 360, My car has the original 340 and thats why I would look for another 340 to put in it IF i ever needed another engine..BUT if I had a non original car id just build the 360...20 FREE extra Cubes plus cheaper parts and you can build it to rev just as much as the 340 IF you buy the right...

    from everything ive read it SHOULD perform exactly like a RPM performer becuase its a Chineese KNOCK OFF of that exact manifold...and like was said ive heard of no problems with them.

    Building up a Dart

    I don't hate BB A bodies so much for the handling...for me a NON-Mechanic that does not have a ton of tools,lifts,etc,etc...its just the ease of maintainance. After helping my buddy try to install headers,change starters,plugs and all that jazz..thats what I hate and to me why its just not worth...

    What cam should I get?

    there are much better cams out there... I had the 284/484 MP cam in the 340 and for just cruising around it was horrible I went back to a "stock"(the smaller Summit cam kit for SB Mopar) and am looking for a bit more now myself wanting to do a cam change and stuff...but that 484 cam aint going...

    Building up a Dart

    Just a plain old strong 360 buildup will probably be your best bet as far as cost and power goes...I have always HATED BB is A bodies(after having a buddy with one and trying to help him shoehorn it in then trying to work on it an get stuff to fit like headers,starters,etc,etc,etc..just a PITA).

    cam for 340 street car

    if your really on a budget the Summit mopar cam(the bigger one) works quite well and comes with everything(lifters etc) you need(except the gaskets) and is under $100. It replaced a MP 284/.484 cam that was just too much for a 340 thats not being raced or something.
