    If it floods during a warm start, that is usually a sign of your choke coming on too early. It's possible to adjust that out, but sometimes you just have to live with it. If you do have to live with it, just cracking the throttle while cranking usually helps it start easier.

    Super Six automatic choke

    I have a 1972 Dart Swinger with a 225 slant six. A couple years back I found a super six carburetor with the intake and exhaust manifold but no choke linkage. I installed the manifolds on the car and it works great but I have a manual choke. Does anyone have the choke parts for the super six setup?

    318 issues

    It's possible that your timing advance is not working in your distributor. If it is jammed and not properly advancing the timing with higher engine speed, it can do strange things. Pull the cap and make sure the weights are free and the shaft will rotate to advance.
