yes i unhooked the plus cable from the alternator and tried to hook the plus cable that goes to the plus terminal to my battery, nothing was getting hot and everything worked then, so i will check where that cable is going, as u said maybe to ground!

Hi guys i installed my msd 6 and mostely everything is clear for me with the comming instruction, but one wire it says i have to put it to 12V+ Ignition key, is the 12V now the ignition 12V run position or the 12V start position from my ignition key?? I dont use the ballast restistor Thx Peter
