    whats the deal?

My dart has a coil, distributor, the orange box. Why cant I just get rid of all that and simplify the engine compartment with this? I had one on a cj I had when I was younger. http://www.performancedistributors.com/dodgesbdui.htm

    dimming lights

redfish, I think that that is the case. Replaced headlight switch, hi beam, brake switch. It has to be in the harness. The wiring is a spliced rat trap! Guess i'll look into a harness :(

    dimming lights

Hey everyone! I am having problems with my lighting. Dims at idle, brightens during acceleration. I replaced the alternator, voltage regulator and had the battery tested, problem persists. Any info appreciated!

Any good way to make the brake lights brighter?

wouldn't a lower voltage at the lights compared to battery be a grounding issue? I just went through this. I added a grounding strap from the block to firewall, then went through all the grounds. I now get full voltage and the lights are plenty bright.
