I recently put headers on to my 72 318 Plymouth duster. I love the sound and performance gains however it is way too loud to have driving around in my city. I've been doing research on mufflers vs glass packs and even then what brands but everywhere says something different. I just want to know...

I appreciate all the help. I think for now I'll go with summit headers for now and then when I eventually do an engine swap invest in some high quality tubes

Are the gains worth the extra money to buy headers instead of just getting a new manifold? Mine is cracked so I'm kind of being forced into getting new ones

I'm making the move up from my old exhaust manifold into some headers and I'm really lost on what to get. I want good quality but I'm on a pretty right budget. I'm hoping to get some for less than $250. I'm looking at some Hooker Comps but I'm really lost. Any suggestions on what to get?
