How do I fix a cracked exhaust manifold on my 6 cylinder 225 engine?

I'm guessing you could have the crack welded, but welding cast iron is pretty challenging and it would probably be pretty costly. Anything less that welding it probably wouldn't hold up for long. You might be better off just picking up another one from a scrap yard or someone who has an extra...

    manifold question

Scamper, Sorry I can't offer any good feedback on the numbers you have. I've had a tough time finding information on 360 manifolds too. It would be nice if someone on the FABO site put together a list of stock manifolds for the various years of mopar 360 LA and magnum blocks (maybe it's...

TTI Exhaust on a Duster anyone install one?

Hey Dustedu2, I'm glad you went through this first. When I get to that point on my 72' Duster, I'll just have to remember to come back and re-read this thread. Thanks for your sacrifice,

    Stock Manifold?

Thanks Dan, I used that trick to get the engine block casting numbers off a motor that I was looking at and couldn't quite see from underneath. The clay cost me about $2 and was well worth it as I discovered it wasn't the engine that I wanted.

    Stock Manifold?

Don't know anything about the accuracy of this site, http://www.mymopar.com/extcastnumb.htm But according to the page above, it looks like you have a 318 manifold off a 1972-73 Dart (3614395) for the left side. If you can't take the right side off, you might also try using some kid's...

    360 LA Truck Exhaust Manifolds

On the truck manifolds, both the driver's and passenger's side manifolds dump in the center. I think that's a problem since it will probably dump right on top of the power steering unit on the driver's side. I'll know better once I drop my 360 in and can test fit, but I don't think the truck...

    360 LA Truck Exhaust Manifolds

LOL, I hadn't thought of mounting them upside down and running the exhaust across the top of the engine. Somehow I just don't think that's going to fly either. I guess I'll just go with the old beat-up headers I have for now. The truck exhaust was a back-up plan if the headers didn't fit...

    360 LA Truck Exhaust Manifolds

Has anyone tried using the old log-style truck manifolds with a 360 swap in an A-body with power steering? I've got a 72 Duster with power steering, ac, Schumacher conversion mounts - S/6 to 360 LA, TF 727, column shift (plan to convert to floor shift eventually), and a mini-starter. Can I use...

    Headers for the Duster

Check out TTI Exhaust's Website at: http://www.ttiexhaust.com/Header-TTI340ABE/SBheaders.htm Take note of all of the "Footnotes" for your application. Also consider the extra heat from the headers on any components that the headers may come close to such as the starter, spark plugs, oil filter...
