    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

Not sure if it matters that im working with an early A, but I installed a set of 1" bars from Just Suspension in my 65 Val, and they are also not offset any whatsoever. I DID NOT have the problem thats being described here. Instead, I had somewhat the opposite situation on mine. I dont know if...

    solo racing an early A

I think my biggest problem is going to be the steering. It seems that my only options are the Flaming River manual box, or the Borgeson power box. Im simply not willing to give up my manifolds just yet, and not willing to spend a grand on headers that may or may not fit with my column/shifter...

    solo racing an early A

Thanks Mattax. That is some very good advice. I won't be able to talk to the SCCA guys until Aug 31. I figured id go check it out and get the tech inspector to look over my car and address the basics before I start getting into the nitty gritty.

    solo racing an early A

Its funny you mention this. Im sure it was a sight to see me scramble for the wheel and brake pedal as my car...

    solo racing an early A

Hey y'all. I have a 65 valiant that I want to set up for autocross/solo racing. The best I can figure right now is that I will be competeing in the "street prepared" class with our local SCCA chapter. I need some pointers in which mods will be best to go with based on my current setup. My...

    Way Cool Lower Control Arms

LCA re-enforcement plates I myself had toyed with the idea of adding those plates to the lower control arms. I studied on the set that i had and determined that there would be no measurable benefit to doing so. First off, the factory RIVITED the two halves together. Why? Because welds break...
