I just need to build the cantilever plates. I had all the other stuff left over from a big 4x4 truck that I built. I'll probably just pull the /6 leafs apart, clean them up and put new bushings in. I might swap a leaf or two from some other leaf packs I have to get some of the ride height back.

I'm wondering this as well, but I thought there was a certain dimension the plate had to be; 4" square for example.

Offroad guys SWEAR by that stuff, it'll paint anything and take lots of abuse. Don't get it on your skin though, it doesn't wash off... you have to let it wear off.

Looks like a good setup, but I don't have any experience to back that statement up, lol. I always give a thumbs up to ingenuity though.

I just got my /6 bottom end taken apart. You were right, #5 was completely trashed. $6 wasn't too far behind, the bearings were horrible but the journal didn't feel scored or gouged. Actually, #5 didn't feel like it was all that bad either. #1 through #4 were in good shape on the cap side...

I'm fairly new to Mopars, but I have a 73 Scamp and I might be swapping out my slant 6 for a rod knock as well. With the transdapt mounts, will I need a V8 K-member as well or do the mounts negate needing that? My car already has front discs, manual brakes and power steering.
