    I built this car using all stock and some modified stock suspension parts. I don't think I had $2,500 into the entire front and rear suspension including the wheels and tires. It handles like its on rails and I don't think you would want to go much lower!8)

    If you are determined to use tubular upper control arms find some that are actually designed so that they are specific to the car. Meaning that they actually fit where you run your two bolts thru at the mounting point on the back side.So many of these tubulars are not as wide as the stock units...

    "72bluNblu " I thought the same way you do when I built this car in 2006.I ordered cap tubular a-arms.When I discovered you had to use washers to make them fit I gave them away and went with stock upper control arms.That car had 383 torsion bars,stock upper and lower control arms,super stock...

    Just one question ? Is there a brand of tubular control arms that you dont have to use washers on to compensate for them being narrower than the stock control arms where you mount them??????

    The best thing to do is get the car up in the air and go over it front to back.That way you can check the torsion bars, lower control arms and k-frame.It is gonna be hard to do on jacks.It could be alingment but most likely it is something else.

    Always replace the pitman and idler when you rebuild the front end the parts are cheap and you cant aling the car if either are even close to worn.When you have the car jacked up pull on the idler arm if the suspension moves at all its shot.If your k-frame or lower control arms are wallowed out...

    Get the front end jacked up and check your torsion bars.Look at them front to back it sounds like one of them may be loose.This usually happens right around the lower control arm.Its easy for it to get wallowed out and that will make the car do what you are desribing

    Hi Rob ,I bought the cap tubular upper control arms.Went to install them and realized they were narrower than the stock ones where the ecentric bolts go thru.I figure ok no big deal,i must have forgot to order another part. I call CAP i explain to the guy how they are narrower than the stock...
